Casbah Life Studio is founded and owned by Canadian artist, Basha. Her work ranges from illustration and painting to hand-made whimsical wearable art. 

After getting her BFa and BEd, she began working with art and education in schools and later branched out to facilitating her own art classes and workshops. Along with her sister-studio for language, Say It Studio, she continues to explore what it means to be a life-long learner.

Her artwork draws from her passion for colour, whimsy, and detail. It aims to refelct her love of learning and the vast range of emotions of the human experience.

Although her work has a variety of different styles and themes, she has fallen in love with the challenge of creating work that reflects childhood and memory, family tradtion, and self-growth.
