The Sun In Its Feels

Title based on a playlist from a friend who has now passed, I decided to photograph the sun as it beamed through the windows and small cracks of my home.

I focused on little areas where the sun crept up and the small shapes and textures that were created when it seeped through different fabrics.

It reminded me of the saying: “There is a crack in everything.  That is how the light gets in.”

I feel now more than ever, the collective needs a reminder of the brightness that can get into every dark place, through a crack, that at first may seem like something to be mended, but in fact is really needed in order to illuminate.
